Program Creation
After the technique and biomechanics assessment, I create your individualised training program based on your capabilities and goals. Updates are prescribed on a weekly basis to ensure changes are made reactively to maximise sustainable progress.
Biomechanics Assessment
Identify and troubleshoot movement inefficiencies. Doing an assessment helps me understand and explain why you may struggle to hit depth in a squat or why you feel your back overused in the deadlift.
Prescribed Movement Drills
Using the biomechanics assessment, I can prescribe specific biomechanics warm up drills appropriate to your limitations and work towards helping you move better for your training goals.
Technique Assessment
During the session, I analyse your lifts to pinpoint specific areas of improvement. We spend time to educate and provide initial feedback to ensure we can drive changes in technical proficiency on the go.
Prescribed Accessories
Using the technique and biomechanics assessment, I choose weighted accessories with intent on driving change to your movement capabilities. My philosophy is to use loaded accessories to continue helping you move better in preparation for your main lifts.
Intra-Week Feedback
Throughout the week, we will be in close contact with each other to monitor and make any small-adjustments to your training or technique if necessary. The coaching process constantly evolves as we learn and communicate with one another.
About Lok See Ng
Empowering others and bringing about change has always been a passion of mine.
A fully comprehensive coaching process
from start to finish
Over the past years, I have worked with lifters across various skill-levels: from complete beginners with minimal experience, to intermediate lifters who compete and place regionally, to athletes who attend international competitions.
To expand my coaching toolkit, I did my first biomechanics mentorship under Conor Harris. Fascinated to learn more about how we move and function on a deeper level, I spent a significant period of time under Alex Effer's group and individual mentorship to refine and enhance my knowledge. I also attended Brad Couillard & Sean Collin's Powerlifting Mentorship to continuously develop and hone my expertise.
Equipped with a comprehensive movement assessment, I am able to dive deeper and troubleshoot movement inefficiencies that you may experience in training. My aim is to provide easy-to-implement solutions that deliver sustainable and tangible training results.
On the side, I am still an avid lifter and compete regularly. I compete in the U83kg class, and my favourite lift is the Conventional Deadlift. I recently hit a personal milestone of mine: 600 lbs/272.5kg pull at 79 kg bodyweight!
